A new approach to a sculpture garden at the entry to the college’s administration building. The need to provide an accessible route of travel provided an opportunity to create spaces for gathering and viewing the centerpiece of the garden, an existing bronze of St. Angela Merici. The project transformed a cold and harsh space of expansive concrete to one filled with layers of movement, color and texture. An enthusiastic and creative “working group” drawn from the college’s administration, teaching staff and students were key in development of the design.
