ksu student memorial garden

« 2 of 2 »

Created as a space of remembrance for students and faculty who have passed away, the student memorial garden can be an intimate place as well as serve as a backdrop for larger gatherings. The slightly sunken garden located in a corner of Manchester Field on the Kent State University main campus will allow for reflection and the sense of discovery as one enters into the space from the field or main esplanade. The sound of the waterfall will help to focus attention and mask sound outside of the garden. Garden elements include lighting, a variety of seating options, stone walls, seasonal plantings and irrigation.
